I’m a multidisciplinary fine artist working in pencil, watercolor, and oil on canvas. My practice is rooted in close observation and hand-rendered precision — I move between media depending on what a subject calls for, and I don’t use digital tools at any stage.
My current long-form project is a series of botanically accurate paintings of rare tropical flowering trees — Jacaranda, Bauhinia, Spathodea campanulata, Cassia fistula — developed from living in northern Israel’s subtropical climate. The series is executed in watercolor and has been recognized internationally: my African Tulip painting received Second Place in the Flora and Flowers category at the International Watercolor Contest Watercolorium 2026.
In oil on canvas, I work in the old masters tradition of layered glazes — a technique that gives paintings a depth and inner luminosity not achievable by other means. Gloria, a portrait of the Gloria Dei rose, is my first published oil work on Saatchi Art.
