Michela Alfiero Bordigato

Michela is an Italian contemporary painter born in Chioggia, a small town in the Venetian lagoon. From an early age, she showed a natural inclination toward creativity and a deep love for art. She later moved to Padua for her university studies, where she currently lives and works as a pediatrician, maintaining a strong connection to her roots.
Alongside her scientific path, she has always cultivated a passion for art and literature. In 2008, she began painting with oil on canvas, initially experimenting in a spontaneous and playful way using materials inherited from her mother, who also shared a passion for painting. She later refined her practice by attending an oil painting course at the cultural center Artelier in Padua.
Her early works focused on landscapes of her hometown, as well as intimate glimpses of everyday life, portraits, and floral subjects. In 2013, following the birth of her first daughter, she entered a long period of artistic pause. Only in 2023 did she return to painting, rediscovering her artistic voice through portraits of her daughters and renewed explorations of landscapes.

Graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Padua, specializing in pediatrics.

As an artist, she has attended painting workshops at cultural associations in Padua (Artelier).

SHe is a member of the "Artists from Chioggia" group, with which she participates in temporary exhibitions and impromptu shows.
