For a long time, my work had no audience in any conventional sense. It arrived with specific people, at specific moments, following its own quiet logic. No exhibitions, no announcements. Just pieces that found their way to those they belonged to - softly, almost like a memory someone had forgotten they carried.
Over the years, I have created works based on personal client requests - held exclusively within private collections.

I'm not sure that's how it was supposed to be. But I think I needed a long time creating in silence, to understand what was actually being born beneath my hands, and why.
Acrylic, mixed media, canvas, these are not materials to me. They are language. And like all language, you don't choose it. It chooses you. Layer by layer, something accumulates, is scraped back, pressed down, fractured where it needed to be. I only follow where the tension wants to go, to the point where the material stops resisting and begins to tell the truth.
What draws me has never been the beautiful. What draws me is the true. And the true is rarely smooth.
