Karen Drake

Karen Drake is a Cincinnati-based abstract artist working primarily in acrylics. Her work is rooted in the concept of flow—both physical and emotional—drawing inspiration from breath, movement, and the human experience of navigating challenge and resilience.
Through layered textures, glazing techniques, and intuitive mark-making, Karen creates pieces that feel both dynamic and meditative. Her “Flow Collection” reflects themes of release, grounding, and renewal, offering viewers a space to pause and reconnect.
