With meticulous technique and a love of detail, figuration characterizes most of his work, which, thematically, recreates images rescued from classical iconography, fabulous legends, and collective memory as a paradigm of reverie to recover the romantic heritage that still permeates our present.
His work, created with mixed media (where any material can suggest a new interpretation—for example, déjà vu), offer ironic details that bring us closer to the splendors of antiquity through an identity rooted in the anecdotal, the everyday, and the festive.
His characters, always prone to revelry, exude a sense of humor and rescue the eroticism of classical sources themselves, where there is room for playfulness… and invite us to evocation.
