Yuliia Perepolkina is an artist working in the genre of realistic still life. Her paintings are distinguished by extraordinary precision and a strong sense of life: light, texture, and volume are rendered in a way that allows the viewer to almost physically feel the materiality of the objects. This is art that holds attention and leaves a lasting impression.

Family background:
Yuliia was born and raised in Poltava. Her mother, a decorative artist, insisted that her daughter attend art school. Yuliia studied there for five years, but on the very last day she told herself: “Never again.” Painting disappeared from her life for almost thirty years.

Later in adulthood, she learned about her great-granduncle, academic painter Ivan Kirillovich Dryapachenko. A student of Chistyakov, he traveled twice to Italy at the expense of the imperial patronage, worked in various genres, and his works are now held in museums in Poltava, Kharkiv, and Lviv. This discovery became a quiet inner support and strengthened her belief in her own path.

Return to painting and first steps:
Her return to art happened during her third marriage. Her husband, who at the age of 48 changed his profession from law to music, took her out onto Pushkinska Street in Yalt...

Completed art education at Poltava Art School (1980–1985), developing foundational skills in drawing and painting.
