Natalia Delgado

Natalia Delgado Fernández is a Spanish artist born in Madrid in 1975, specializing in abstract painting and mixed media. She primarily works with oil, acrylic, pastel, and watercolor, combining different materials on canvas, paper, and recycled surfaces such as cardboard.

Her work is characterized by abstraction, the use of vibrant colors, organic forms, and rich textures created through layered materials. Her creative process is spontaneous and intuitive, guided by emotion and experimentation rather than careful planning.

Emotions lie at the heart of her artistic practice. Through an abstract visual language and the use of mixed media, she invites viewers to connect with their inner world and reflect on the nature and impact of emotions on the human experience.

Although she studied Business Administration at the Complutense University of Madrid and has no formal education in Fine Arts, she is a self-taught artist who returned to painting during the COVID-19 lockdown, finding in it a means of expression, introspection, and creative freedom.
