I grew up caught between two disciplines — Agricultural Engineering and fine art — and I chose to keep them separate on purpose. Art was never meant to be homework. It was always something fiercer than that.
It became fiercest when I lost my father. Grief has a weight that words can’t carry, and I turned to acrylics to carry it instead. That period of loss didn’t end my relationship with art — it defined it. Everything I paint now carries some trace of that transformation.
Based in Jordan, I draw inspiration from the natural world’s textures and from the masters who taught me that technique is only ever in service of feeling. My work is about resilience — not as a concept, but as something lived, and still being lived.
