Olga Bunina

My name is Olga Bunina. I was born in Mariupol, a city on the coast of the Sea of Azov in Ukraine, and I currently live in Germany, where I continue my work as an artist.
My practice is centered around emotional landscapes of memory, freedom, and inner strength. The sea is a recurring image in my work — a symbol of belonging, movement, and a deep connection to nature and personal origin.
Alongside this, I create pop-art-inspired images of wild horses, representing energy, power, and independence. Through bold color and expressive form, I explore the tension between control and freedom, stillness and movement.
My work is intended to bring a sense of vitality, openness, and emotional resonance into contemporary spaces.
