Cagri Ergin

I am a Cyprus-based contemporary abstract artist working primarily with texture, layered composition, and emotional expression.

My practice is rooted in the idea that a painting should reveal more over time. Through the careful building of layers, I create surfaces that respond to light, distance, and perspective, allowing each work to shift subtly in presence and meaning.

I am drawn to the tension between structure and freedom, intention and accident. This balance shapes my visual language and gives each piece its own distinct energy.

Every artwork is original and one of a kind. My goal is to create pieces that resonate beyond the visual — works that bring atmosphere, depth, and quiet intensity into a space.
