Li Yun Tsai

I am a self-taught artist based in Taiwan. I work at a patisserie and paint in my spare time. My work is inspired by flowers, animals, and quiet moments from everyday life.

Through delicate observation, realistic details, and the use of negative space, I explore a sense of stillness and gentle emotion in ordinary subjects. Recently, I have been particularly drawn to compositions influenced by Japanese ikebana, where space and silence are as important as the subjects themselves.

I work primarily with oil and acrylic paint, creating paintings that bring together realism, simplicity, and a quiet atmosphere.
