Mor Berenshtin | Israeli Contemporary Artist

Mor Berenshtin is an Israeli multidisciplinary artist and painter, and a graduate of the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA).

Her artistic practice explores the intersection of contemporary abstraction, Jewish identity, and spirituality. Drawing inspiration from Jewish mysticism, sacred geometry, and Hebrew symbolism, she brings traditional Jewish visual language into dialogue with contemporary painting.

In her recent body of work, the Star of David emerges as a central motif through which she explores belonging, resilience, faith, and continuity. Moving between recognizable symbolism and abstraction, her paintings investigate how an ancient symbol can hold personal, collective, and spiritual meaning in the present.

Through expressive color, layered textures, and dynamic compositions, Berenshtin approaches painting as a space for reflection, transformation, and connection.

Working from her studio in Israel, she creates original paintings that engage with Jewish heritage as a living and evolving source of identity, strength, and inspiration.
