Riki Rikiyanto

I was born in Cilacap in 1970, Since childhood I have loved drawing. I love the combination of colors and shapes. When I wanted to go to college, I tried the exam at the faculty of architecture and economics and all accepted me. There were two faculty considerations, my heart wanted to choose architecture according to my talent. However, logic was different, because of my family's economic considerations, I finally took a study in economics. After graduating, I worked at a national private bank from an accountant, marketing and finally became a bank official to lead a private bank. After 18 years, I finally resigned to build my own business, lasting 5 years. Not as beautiful as I imagined ... then I worked again ... only lasted 2 months in 2020 when Covid I fell ill with a stroke, due to high blood pressure and a blockage in my heart artery. Since then I have not worked because my MCU is unfit. I still want to create to stay alive and heal from illness. I try to painting to pour out my emotions and feelings of my soul. Until now I still painting and hope for my health to recover. Praise God, despite my stroke, heart disease, and peripheral vertigo, I created these paintings. Life must remain vibrant and creative.
