With the computer science and engineering degree fuelling my early career, I Ashley Dwivedi honed my precision as a quality assurance engineer for IT behemoths like Infosys Gartner and Birlasoft, meticulously, probing the cracks in sprawling products and services for these giants and their associated clients, spread across finance, banking and healthcare domains. Yet my heart always yearned to debug the world stories through art. In 2025, I embraced that passion, quitting corporate cubicle to master Maithili or also known as Madhubani art, which is the India’s one of the oldest art forms, started in the region of my biggest religious inspiration, “Maa Sita”. Maithili art as the name suggests is from Mithila which is a region in Bihar of India. Using its iconic patterns, geometric fills sinuous, wines, and watchful eyes to vividly depict Asia’s expansive, tapestry culture, values, valleys and environment. My dream is to create the artwork which individually captures and covers the aesthetics environment, condition and existence of almost each and every Asian country within our continent Asia using the strokes,lines and the pattern of Madhubani art or Maithili art.
