I approach the canvas as an open atmosphere—a space defined by air, freedom, and the absence of a rigid center.
My abstract compositions center on the intimate dialogue of color: tiny, irregular flecks cluster together like personal memories, amplifying one another in quiet conversation.
Contrasting these delicate marks are large, dripping fields of bold color anchored at the edges.
They introduce drama and dictate the mood, while remaining distant enough to let the viewer retreat into the subtle, nuanced details. Ultimately, my work studies the power of color moving through breathing space.
