Bartek Smyka

Bartłomiej Smyka, born in Jasło and currently residing in Tarnowiec, is a graduate of the University of Rzeszów. He completed his studies in the printmaking studio under the supervision of Professor Stanisław Górecki, specializing in linocut. His artistic practice encompasses painting, drawing, and graphic arts.

He has participated in numerous collective and solo exhibitions, including shows in Sanok, Jarosław, Tomaszów Lubelski, Rzeszów, Jasło, Krosno, and Stalowa Wola. Smyka is deeply fascinated by the landscape of the Low Beskids (Beskid Niski), which serves as a primary source of inspiration for his work. His pieces balance between the realistic observation of nature and an impressionistic perception of light and space, creating an atmosphere of reflection and tranquility.
