Redmon Lee

Redmon is an artist based in South Korea whose work envisions a world beyond the rainbow, presenting paintings filled with hope, joy, and pure emotion.

Two distinctive elements appear throughout his work: the rainbow and the color yellow. More than a natural phenomenon, the rainbow serves as a bridge to another world. Through this symbol, Redmong visualizes the ideal world he imagined as a child—a place where individuality is respected, harmony flourishes, and viewers are invited to experience warmth and positive energy.

The second defining element is the color yellow, which symbolizes the sun. It breathes vitality into each composition and, together with the rainbow, becomes a vehicle for expanding feelings of hope and warmth. Within these works, the boundary between reality and imagination gradually dissolves, while free-flowing forms and vibrant colors come together to create a unique visual experience.

By combining simple geometric forms with bold color contrasts, Redmong emphasizes an intuitive visual language that encourages viewers to embark on a journey of imagination. His paintings invite audiences to step beyond the familiar and discover a world where optimism, creativity, and harmony coexist.
