Stephanie Watkins

I am a contemporary artist inspired by the beauty, movement, and atmosphere of the natural world. My work blends expressive abstraction with recognizable elements, transforming coastlines, landscapes, and quiet human moments into vibrant, dreamlike scenes.

Working primarily with acrylics and mixed-media techniques, I build each painting through layers of colour, texture, fluid brushwork, and playful detail. I’m especially drawn to the contrast between energetic natural forms—such as moving water and wild foliage—and the calm feeling of viewing a landscape from above.

Each piece is created to bring a sense of freedom, warmth, and escape into the space where it lives. My original artworks are intended not only to be viewed, but to evoke memories, emotions, and a personal connection with nature.
