Marina Rosman

After studying art and illustration, Marina Rosman worked for many years primarily as a graphic designer. A few years ago, she rediscovered painting with soft pastels and acrylic on canvas as mediums that allow for a far deeper and more liberated expression of emotion, human intimacy, and inner worlds.

Starting from realistic painting, her work moves progressively away from strictly representational nature, leading into blurred realms of raw feelings, moods, and human relationships. Seeking the mystical and dreamlike, Marina uses expressive poses, contrasting colors, and soft, blending forms. Often, the essence of a figure or an encounter reveals itself only during the creative process itself, giving her work a unique emotional depth and a visionary, poetic quality.

Inspired by Expressionism, Fauvism, and Symbolism, her artistic practice continues to be deeply shaped by bold uses of color, light, and dreamlike atmospheres. Through her evocative, vibrant works, the painter aims to awaken a sense of comfort and profound connection – bringing a subtle, harmonious energy into the homes of those who live with her art.
