David San Francisco

David San Francisco, who holds a Ph.D. in Fine Arts, primarily uses oil, acrylic, resins, waxes, colored pencils, and metals, blending his academic and teaching approach with his painting practice. His technique explores ambiguous abstraction, employing the subtraction and addition of material to create geometric compositions that engage the viewer, inviting them to assign personal meaning to each work.

Doctor of Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid. He holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Salamanca and completed the Master’s in Art Research and Creation (MIAC) at the Complutense University of Madrid, where he later earned his PhD, graduating Cum Laude.
