Tomomi Sakai

I’m TOMOMI SAKAI, a calligraphy artist who expresses feelings through ink. I create calligraphy works with a contemporary art sensibility.

To me, calligraphy is life itself, and each character is an expression of the person who writes it. I channel emotions and life stories born from experience into my work — turning both bright, uplifting words and powerfully negative ones into pieces that illuminate the heart.

Everyone carries a life story capable of moving others.

I hope my calligraphy can become something that heals the heart and gives people strength — the way music, manga, anime, novels, and film do.

I want people to experience the joy of finding, among the works I offer, the one piece that illuminates their own heart.

私の書道が、音楽、マンガ、アニメ、小説、映画のように、心が救われる、元気を与える存在になったら嬉しいです。
