Hi, I’m Adesanya Abimbola, the artist behind BimArtistry Creative studio. Based in the vibrant city of Lagos, Nigeria, I am a self-taught fine artist specializing in hyper-realistic pencil and charcoal portraiture.
My journey to the canvas is a unique one. I hold a degree in Microbiology from Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), a background that trained me to observe the world with microscopic precision. Today, I translate that analytical discipline into the intricate textures of fine art, using every stroke of graphite and charcoal to capture the profound depth of the human experience.
For me, art is far more than replicating a photograph. It is a tool to explore what lies beneath the surface. My original pieces frequently delve into themes of duality, the "reflection of the inner self," and the resilience of the human spirit.
