Nassim Traeger

Hi, my name is Nassim, and I’m a self-taught analog photographer with a background in graphic design and experience in fine art production.

My work is mainly focused on color film, although I occasionally work in black and white. My background in design has strongly influenced the way I approach photography — I’m drawn to balance, symmetry, composition, and the subtle relationship between color, light, and space.

I’m particularly inspired by the use of color in the photography of Steve McCurry and William Eggleston. I love the way they can use strong, unexpected, or carefully balanced colors to transform ordinary moments and everyday scenes into something special and memorable.

My photographs often have a sense of calm and silence. I’m interested in creating images that invite the viewer to slow down and simply be present in the scene. Through composition, symmetry, and light, I try to create a feeling of immersion — as if the viewer could step into the photograph and experience the atmosphere for themselves.
