Natalia Johansson

Natalia Johansson trained at the Art Academy 1985-1990. Worked in Norrbotten 1991-1994,
Since 1994 Lives and works as an artist in Sweden.
Natalia Johansson paints in different techniques: oil, watercolor, mixed media,
The motifs are often (not always) abstract and based on compositions of geometric shapes and objects that form relationships to each other.
While Natalia experiments with oil and acrylic painting, she also devotes herself to design and sculpture in ceramics and glass.
" I am inspired by everything I see in front of me, sometimes it can be small towns
that you visit, sometimes collections of people.
So there are very different impressions that give impulses to the motifs in my artworks.
I try to stylize and create my own way of painting.
I am very interested in different combinations of colors - how they work together and what effect you can get on a canvas."
