I paint places the way they stay with us after we leave them: not as images, but as vibrations. A stretch of the Mediterranean coast, a night street in El Born, the wind of the Tramuntana — each becomes a structure of colour, weight and silence on the canvas.

I came to painting from a career in acoustics and vibration engineering, and that double life runs through everything I make. My work moves between the industrial and the organic: hard-edged blocks of matte colour, layered grounds with visible body, raw canvas kept as light itself. I work in acrylic, lacquer and chalk paint on stretched canvas, and I sign my geometric work "SK".

My paintings are organised in four series. Géométries en Calme searches for stillness through structure. Architecture of Silence listens to the city — its verticality, its noise turned into chromatic score. Mirages holds the light of the South: ports, salt, distance. Présences, the newest series, distils human encounter into fields of colour.

I live and work in Barcelona. Every painting is an original, one-of-a-kind work on stretched canvas.
