Zakia Khan Chandana is a Bangladeshi Contemporary Artist whose paintings explore themes of survival and transformation through her portrayal of nature. The elements in nature and human beings are represented symbolically, which wants to give a hint at change, temporality and rebirth. She has tried to represent the picture in a dream like environment, maintaining harmony in a supernatural way.
She has tried to explain the crisis of existence and the transience of the human race through the mountain-like sculpture. The painting shows the possibility of life through human and other elements even amidst transience.
The forms and fragmented landscapes seek to speak to the tension between creation and destruction. Her works serve as visual metaphors for the constant evolution of our world, urging reflections on change. She invites viewers to reflect on the cycles of life and renewal through the textures and strokes characteristic of surreal art.
