My practice relies on the tension between controlled line work and expressive freedom combining multi-colored pen crosshatching on paper with acrylics, spray paint, and upcycled paper on canvas and velvet. By balancing warm and cool palettes, I transform conceptual themes and sacred truths into evocative visual meditations.

BIOGRAPHY & BACKGROUND

My name is Eluwole Isaiah, a Nigerian conceptual artist specializing in mixed-media compositions. My work bridges classical reverence with contemporary conceptual thought, grounded in an artistic lineage that began in the studio of my granduncle, the renowned master Professor Abayomi Barber.

Having honed my craft under conceptual mentors Damola Adeyemo and Prince Timi Kakandar, and receiving royal recognition from the Ooni of Ife at the Ojaja Art and Craft Academy, I am currently completing my final year in Fine and Applied Arts at the University of Benin.
