Kausar Iqbal is a contemporary visual artist from Pakistan and an alumnus of the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. His practice is rooted in the rich tradition of Pakistani miniature painting while engaging with contemporary social and cultural narratives. Through meticulous craftsmanship, he explores themes of identity, collective memory, community, and the relationship between people and their environment.
Drawing inspiration from everyday life, folklore, and cultural traditions, Kausar transforms historical visual language into contemporary storytelling. His work often reflects on human interaction, social structures, and the enduring significance of heritage in a rapidly changing world. By combining traditional miniature techniques with a modern perspective, he creates artworks that invite viewers to reflect on cultural continuity, dialogue, and shared human experiences.
Kausar Iqbal's work has been exhibited in galleries and art platforms, and his paintings are held in private collections. He continues to expand the language of contemporary miniature painting while preserving the precision and craftsmanship that define this historic art form.
