Olga Shabanova is a painter based in Germany, working primarily in oil on canvas. Her figurative paintings explore mythology, spirituality, cultural memory, and the emotional depth of the human experience.
Inspired by opera, literature, history, and European artistic traditions, she creates symbolic narratives in which reality and imagination coexist. Central to her work is the idea of **metamorphosis**—the continuous transformation of the human spirit through memory, love, faith, loss, and hope. Her paintings invite viewers into poetic worlds where myth and history become reflections of contemporary life.
Shabanova's work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions in Germany. Her paintings are held in private collections and continue her exploration of symbolic, narrative art that bridges the classical and the contemporary.
Studied Painting, Drawing and Scenography (Stage Design).
