Vanessa Flores is an American-born Venezuelan-raised multidisciplinary artist and creative director based in Los Angeles. With more than two decades of experience in branding and visual communication, her work bridges the precision of design with the spontaneity of abstract expression.
Working primarily with fluid acrylics and resin, Flores embraces the balance between intention and chance. Gravity, movement, chemistry, and time become collaborators in each painting, creating compositions that cannot be repeated. Layers of color shift between landscapes, oceans, celestial forms, and organic textures, inviting viewers to discover their own narratives rather than presenting a single interpretation.
Her debut body of work, Flou, explores movement, impermanence, and the beauty of uncertainty. Each piece is a unique original that captures a moment of transformation—where control is released and the material itself becomes part of the creative process.

Vanessa Flores earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Miami International University of Art & Design after completing an Associate Degree in Graphic Design at Instituto de Diseño de Caracas in Venezuela. Her formal education provided a foundation in composition, color theory, typography, and visual communication, disciplines that continue to influence her approach to abstract painting. Although her professional career has been rooted in branding and creative direction, her transition into fine art reflects a natural evolution—applying decades of design experience to a more intuitive and expressive practice.
