Am Daniel Douglas Otim, basically à self taught artist because most of my tasks during my education were all my brainstorming and self practice. Therefore I was practicing more and getting inspiration from many artists. I like explorations of different mediums, my works focus on depictions of us, humanity, showing beauty, resilience and love through abstract realism, realistic art and abstract sculptures. What am currently working with are abstract realism, and ball point pen realism. But yeah! My process still speaks and never will it be silent. I enjoy exploring more artistic creatives to blend in with my art style.
I finished primary, high school and currently in college. Through out my education, I have been consistently drawing and practicing which all reflected on my arts grades and as well solo pieces that I made to conquer my inner self to stay resilient . My structured education has really influenced my art practice.
I have held several exhibitions in my high school during creativity activities and services showdown. I held my biggest exhibition during my graduation year, speaking on the need of resilience, depicting my resilient story on how I became who I am, also reflecting what might Gracefully happen in the future.
