My practice emerges from an ongoing exploration of force, movement, tension, and the way color can construct space without the need for representation.
Trained in Graphic Arts in Madrid, I developed an interest in the relationship between structure and visual expression. My work has since evolved towards abstraction, where geometric structures and organic forms coexist in a continuous state of tension. I work primarily with oil on canvas and board, allowing the image to develop through the physical encounter between color, gesture, and surface.
My approach to painting is deeply connected to rhythm. Inspired in part by music, I use rhythmic brushstrokes as a form of visual movement. Rather than applying color simply to fill predetermined shapes, I allow colors to emerge and interact within the painting itself. The composition is progressively constructed through repetition, contrast, interruption, and balance.
As a neurodivergent artist, I experience perception through an intensely associative and dynamic process. This influences the way I observe relationships between color, movement, structure, and space. My neurodivergence is not the subject of my work, but it is part of the perspective from which the work emerges.
