Asha Subhashini

I am a Sri Lankan fine-art illustrator with an academic background in Archaeology from the University of Ruhuna. Drawing inspiration from scientific illustration and precise historical artifact documentation, I craft intricate, highly detailed artworks exclusively on natural wood surfaces. Working with black gel pens, drawing inks, and vibrant paints, my practice explores themes of ancient heritage, culture, and nature blending archaeological precision with contemporary fine art.

I grounded my early academic journey at St. Luke's College, Ratnapura, before pursuing a B.A. Special Degree in Archaeology (English Medium) at the University of Ruhuna. To complement my core discipline, I earned a Diploma in Human Resource Management alongside professional certifications in English and Information Technology. Today, I synthesize this academic background, administrative expertise, and passion for heritage as a Course Coordinator at the Institute of Archaeology and Heritage Studies.
