Abdessadeq Dada

Dada Abdessadeq is a contemporary Moroccan artist specialized in traditional Moroccan fine craft. Born in Tamegroute (Zagora), in the deep south of Morocco, he is currently based in the vibrant northern city of Tangier.
Deeply inspired by the richness of Moroccan and Berber culture, Abdessadeq uses a unique and meticulous technique. He creates intricate artworks by applying natural henna paste onto wood using a syringe, a traditional method requiring extreme precision. To ensure his creations last a lifetime, he carefully coats each piece with a professional varnish, blending heritage with durability.
Through his textured and symbolic pieces, Abdessadeq preserves and reimagines ancient Moroccan stories, geometric symbols, and nomadic heritage for the modern art world. His work invites viewers to feel the warmth, soul, and spiritual depth of Moroccan culture.

Growing up in Tamegroute, a place deeply rooted in history and craftsmanship, I developed a profound respect for our cultural symbols and traditions.
