Moylin Buldain

Moylin Buldain is a British contemporary figurative artist based in Hamburg, Germany. Her work has been exhibited across the United Kingdom, Japan and New York.

Her practice explores memory, folklore and personal narrative through expressive figurative painting. Combining recognisable imagery with layered colour, texture and gestural mark-making, she creates psychologically charged scenes that move between reality, memory and dream.

Her recent paintings examine inner emotional states and moments of transition, particularly the tension between connection and isolation, movement and stillness, vulnerability and control. Figures, hands, animals and imagined landscapes appear as symbolic fragments, reflecting the difficulty of navigating both internal and external change. Through this evolving visual language, she considers how identity and belonging are shaped by the stories, experiences and memories we carry with us.

Alongside her studio practice and exhibition work, she is available for selected private and commercial commissions.
