My Journey in Art

I began painting at the age of 29. Until then, I had never held a paintbrush in my hands. Painting entered my life unexpectedly, like an inner awakening, during one of the most difficult and defining periods of my life.

My mother had already been diagnosed with cancer, and throughout that deeply emotional journey, a profound need to express myself was born within me. That was when I began to paint.

Today, I feel that painting was a gift she left me. A way to keep moving forward, to express the things that cannot always be put into words, and to find a way to continue living even in her absence.

To this day, painting remains a deeply personal form of expression for me. For many years, I did not share my art with the outside world. I kept it close to me, as something deeply personal—almost entirely my own.

Over the years, I have created more than 80 paintings. Each work represents a part of my personal journey—a distinct moment, an emotion, or a story that found its way onto the canvas through colour and form.

I have sold some of my paintings, though not many. Perhaps because I form a deep emotional connection with each piece, and it is never easy to let it go.
