Heather Odonovan

Heather O’Donovan, of Studio Maison Art, is an abstract artist and interior designer. She established her own interior design firm and shops in Los Angeles, Charleston, and, most recently, Washington, D.C., where she currently resides. Inspired by the beauty of nature, Heather’s style is relaxed and welcoming—an effortless, livable aesthetic she brings to both her interiors and her abstract art.

Growing up in California, Heather developed a strong connection to the ocean and rocky coastlines, from exploring the rocky coasts of Carmel to relaxing on Southern California beaches. Her art captures the lively colors and movement of the sea and coastlines. She creates serene abstract landscapes using acrylics and inks, offering viewers a calming visual retreat.

Now residing in Cleveland Park with her husband and two daughters, Heather continues to embrace the tranquil beauty of nature through travel and exploration. She often draws inspiration from her adventures for her artwork and titles, adding personal stories to her creative journey.

Heather started her career in fashion and interior design, studying drawing and drafting along the way. Self-taught as a painter, she picked up brushes about seven years ago and has been creating ever since. Her relaxed design aesthetic effortlessly complements her artwork, enabling her to stay connected to her roots in design while expressing her creativity through painting.
