Hirofumi Maeshiba is a Japanese-born sculptor based in New York City. His work explores the relationship between sculptural form and surrounding space through carved and assembled wood. His sculptures incorporate organic structures, repeated elements, and open spaces. He also creates abstract drawings that explore form, movement, and perception.
