Niccolo Onirico Tommasi

Born in Florence in 1997, Niccolò Tommasi developed a deep attraction to art from an early age, perceiving it immediately not only as an expressive language, but as a space for inner exploration. Over time, painting has established itself as his privileged medium, becoming an open territory for continuous experimentation.

His practice moves within the realm of abstract painting and action painting, where gesture, matter, and color merge into a dynamic and instinctive process. His works stem from a direct dialogue between impulse and awareness, in which the pictorial mark becomes the trace of a lived experience rather than the representation of a defined form.

Through layering, chromatic contrasts, and spontaneous interventions, his work investigates dreamlike dimensions, emotional states, and paths of personal transformation. Each canvas acts as an open space, capable of welcoming multiple interpretations and activating an intimate relationship with the observer.

In constant evolution, Niccolò Tommasi pursues a research that shuns staticity, embracing change as a central element of his artistic language. His painting is not simply meant to be observed, but invites the viewer to cross through it, experience it, and feel it.
