I take most of these photos while walking, not on purpose. Most of what I make is staged, built scenes shot on pinhole cameras with exposures that can run for hours. These are the opposite of that. Nothing here is arranged or waited for. I just frame something arbitrary tightly enough that it starts to hold its own small, parallel version of the world it came from. I noticed it, and thought someone else might want to notice it too.
