Nathalie Petit

Through the use of various media, Nathalie Petit examines the relationships and slips between art and craft, habitat and inhabitant, place and space, functionality and poetics.
She explores the spheres in which we live—and which we construct—particularly through their manufacturing processes or graphic codes, by drawing parallels, rapprochements and deflections.
Sometimes blending interior and exterior within a single view or playing with established conventions.
In the *Doodle* series—created using a graphic system she has been developing for several years and presented across various media—we consistently encounter the same motifs, used in a state of perpetual proliferation as they transform into maps and imaginary plans of unknown territories or gardens. These works refer to both the macro and the micro.
