Christiana Martin

Christiana Martin is a self taught contemporary artist whose practice explores abstraction, geometric forms, texture and African-inspired themes. Based in Nigeria, she began her artistic journey in 2022 and has since developed a distinctive visual language through expressive color, bold composition and tactile surfaces.
Working primarily with acrylic on canvas, Christiana creates original artworks that explore identity femininity, culture and the relationships between shape, color and emotion. Her paintings balance abstraction and recognizable forms, inviting viewers to discover their own interpretations within each composition.
Her practice is rooted in experimentation and an appreciation for the expressive possibilities of contemporary art. Through her work, she seeks to create pieces that bring character, depth and individuality to the spaces they inhabit.
Christiana continues to develop her practice through original paintings and collectible miniature artworks, drawing inspiration from her experiences and cultural surroundings
