Graziano Alghisi

Graziano Alghisi (born in Chiari, Italy, in 1980) is a fine art photographer whose work explores landscape, human presence and collective memory through black-and-white photography.

His practice focuses on the traces people leave behind: abandoned places, transformed environments and the quiet relationship between nature and the built world. Moving between documentary observation and poetic interpretation, his photographs invite viewers to consider how places hold memories and how absence can become a form of presence.

His series on Lake Iseo was presented in a solo exhibition at the Museo Nazionale della Fotografia in Brescia in 2023 and published in the book Lago d’Iseo: racconto per immagini by Susil Edizioni.

In Mare di Pianura, Alghisi turns his attention to the Po Valley. Through open expanses and suspended atmospheres, he explores a landscape where the horizon evokes memory and a sense of infinity. The project developed into a book published by G.A.M. Edizioni in 2025. In 2026, the series was presented in solo exhibitions at the Museo Nazionale della Fotografia in Brescia, Regione Lombardia in Milan and BCC Agrobresciano in Ghedi.
