The essence of beauty is the goal of that constant, tireless, and meticulous pursuit shared by this pair of artists, who are also partners in life.
Today, Giovanni and Francesca—known as GF-Art—unite their souls on canvas, painting in tandem. They express themselves through oil paintings that depict subjects drawn from nature or mythology; their aesthetic vision encompasses natural elements, which take on a magical aura, as well as mythological figures rich in symbolism and allegorical meaning.
Their work highlights a profound focus on the depths of the human spirit—perceived through the dual gaze of their hearts—expressed via a shared, original approach that makes the artistic duo’s style instantly recognizable.

The artistic journey of the couple began in 1990 in the studio of the master Carmine Conversano.
Much like in the art workshops of the Renaissance tradition, Giovanni and Francesca studied and mastered painting techniques, while also grasping the importance of visual research—for, as they themselves state, "to learn to paint, one must learn to observe."
Their study, deepened over the years through the observation of the "great masters" and frequent visits to museums and exhibitions, was further refined under the guidance of the internationally renowned painters Ciro Palumbo and Paolo Tagliaferro.
