Lucia Silhavikova

Colour is the language of my soul. I see painting as an intuitive journey of discovery, guided by emotion, light and the freedom of the creative process. I allow myself to be led by the present moment, letting colours, forms and textures evolve naturally and reveal what words cannot always express.
In my work, I explore abstract, figurative and symbolic imagery. I am fascinated by feminine archetypes, nature, the sea and the constant transformations of life. Each painting is a personal journey into deeper layers of experience, where intuition, energy and emotion meet.
Light plays a special role in my paintings. I work with colour, sculptural textures and genuine 24-karat gold leaf, which catches the light and lends my works a distinctive radiance. For me, gold is more than an aesthetic element. It symbolises the inner light we all carry within us, reminding us of the beauty and potential hidden beneath the surface.
My artistic practice has gradually evolved from exploring feminine archetypes towards the freedom of intuitive abstraction. In both approaches, I seek an authentic way to express the invisible through colour, light and form.
