Alessio Trevisani

I am an Italian artist based in Verona. My work explores the relationship between gold leaf, light, material and perception. Through a personal technique of layering and stabilizing 23-karat gold leaf, I create contemporary sculptures that transform gold into luminous, three-dimensional forms. I am interested in how transparency and changing reflections reveal different depths and transform the way we perceive matter.
