I am a Sweden-based artist creating Narrative Polychrome Relief Art, a practice that brings together sculptural relief and painting.

Each work is built by hand in layers of wall filler on MDF, shaped and textured before being painted. I use depth, texture, colour and light as integral parts of the composition and its narrative.

I work with a variety of themes rather than a single recurring subject. A characteristic element of my work is the idea of an image within an image: forms can open into another scene, perspective or visual world, allowing different layers of a story to exist within the same artwork. I am interested in creating pieces that reveal themselves gradually and invite the viewer to look beyond the first impression.

Light also plays an important role in many of my works. Metallic, pearl and layered finishes can shift in tone and character depending on the viewing angle and illumination.

Each piece is an original, one-of-a-kind work created by hand in my studio in Örebro, Sweden.
