Rebecca Mcgetrick

I received a B.A/N-Dip in Fine Art from Dun Laoighaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology in 1998, and in 2010 I studied Photography and digital imaging at the National College of Art and Design. I put my career on hold in 2003 to have a family but since 2009 my work has been selected for the annual exhibition at the prestigious Royal Ulster Academy, I have been published in Abridged art magazine, F-Stop photography magazine and Source photography magazine, I have been selected for several collections on Saatchi online by the director of the Saatchi Gallery Rebecca Wilson and was also a finalist in their 'Places and Spaces' showdown competition.
In 2012 I curated and exhibited in 'Close to Closure' a photography exhibition at the Backloft Gallery, Dublin for PhotoIreland Festival.
