Eshref Muka

Born in Tirana, Albania in 1950.
Studied Fine Arts in High school of the city graduating in 1973 in the city of Tirana and early started to take successfully part in famous galleries of the city.

For about 20 years took part and collaborated with a Gallery Saloon of Art in Tirana which was selling paintings exclusively at a class of foreigner visitors which they lived permanently in Albania or visited the city as tourists.

The paintwork early took the appreciation by teachers, gallerists and classmates.

Also worked as a teacher of sculpture between 1975 - 1977 at the same school that studied.
Experimentation with mosaic and sculpting of animal cornu brought results that are very impressive but the biggest product of pieces are in oil paintings.

The painting style comes closer to impressionism but although the differences are visible in compare to the classic impressionism the style is dealing with new kinds of different techniques. For example, you can see some works that are painted with oil colors but the result as you watch the painting seems to be more like aquarelle.

He has “play” a lot with techniques and materials drawing to canvas 'till cardboard.
