Vesna Kolobarić

Vesna Kolobaric is a distinguished multidisciplinary visual artist who designs contemporary jewelry, unique textiles and fashion, both 2D and 3D artwork. She holds a degree in Textile and Fashion Design from the Faculty of Textile Technology in Zagreb, the capital of Croatia. Her work has been widely showcased in both solo and group exhibitions across a prestigious network of galleries, museums, and fashion shows internationally, including in Croatia, Slovenia, Israel, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Spain, and the USA. Beyond her studio practice, she has collaborated with the Croatian National Theatre in Osijek, spent years organizing cultural projects in Djakovo, and has received numerous awards and accolades for her artistic achievements. Throughout her diverse creative cycles, Kolobaric explores how psycho-social, economic, and ecological shifts shape the visual identity of specific eras. She is deeply fascinated by how technological and scientific advancements influence the behaviour and application of materials in contemporary art.
